Fuel pump is a professional term in the automotive parts industry and is one of the basic components of the electronic fuel injection system of fuel-injected vehicles. The function of the fuel pump is to draw fuel from the fuel tank, pressurize it, and then deliver it to the fuel supply pipe, cooperating with the fuel pressure regulator to establish a certain fuel pressure. Today's topic is Fuel Pump Armature Related knowledge.

One end of the carbon commutator connected to the injection insulation layer of the fuel pump armature is located inside the cylindrical shell, and the other end of the carbon commutator is exposed outside the cylindrical shell. In the fuel pump, the enamelled wire is filled between the conical protrusions at both ends of the injection insulation layer and the cylindrical outer shell. The fuel pump armature has eight metal plates. The length of the metal plates is slightly shorter than the height of the injection insulation layer, and the fuel pump armature is injection-molded from polyoxymethylene.

  1. The fuel pump armature includes an armature shaft, which is characterized by a cylindrical injection-molded insulation layer; in the middle section of the armature shaft, the injection-molded insulation layer wraps multiple metal steel sheets; a carbon commutator is fitted on the tail section of the armature shaft; the carbon commutator is connected to the injection-molded insulation layer; a cylindrical shell is fitted on the middle section of the armature shaft, wrapping the enamelled wire and the carbon commutator around the outer surface of the metal sheet injection-molded insulation layer; and the end of the cylindrical shell away from the carbon commutator is closed.

  2. According to the requirements of the fuel pump armature, both ends of the injection-molded insulation layer are conical protrusions, and the conical protrusions are fitted on the armature shaft.

  3. Due to the fuel pump armature described above, one end of the carbon commutator connected to the injection-molded insulation layer is located inside the cylindrical shell, and the other end of the carbon commutator is exposed outside the cylindrical shell.

  4. Enamel wire is filled between the conical protrusions at both ends of the injection-molded insulation layer and the cylindrical outer shell.

  5. The number of teeth of the root metal sheet is eight.

  6. The length of the metal sheet is slightly shorter than the height of the injection-molded insulation layer.

  7. The material of the injection-molded insulation layer is polyoxymethylene.

The new fuel pump armature includes an armature shaft and an injection-molded insulation layer. The injection-molded insulation layer is cylindrical and attached to the middle section of the armature shaft; multiple silicon steel sheets are wrapped by the injection-molded insulation layer; a carbon commutator is fitted on the tail of the armature shaft and connected to the injection insulation layer; a cylindrical shell is fitted on the middle section of the armature shaft and wraps the metal sheet, attaching the enamelled wire and the carbon commutator to the outer surface of the injection-molded insulation layer. The injection insulation layer can be made by injection molding. The injection insulation layer structure is stable and has high strength, and will not dissolve in methanol and other fuels. Compared with the existing fuel pump technology, the new injection insulation layer will not have the risk of high-voltage breakdown of the injection insulation layer, so the reliability is greatly improved, and the service life is extended.

P-gear armature: What is an armature

The armature manufacturer states that motors play a key and crucial role in the process of realizing the mutual conversion of mechanical energy and electrical energy. For generators, it is the component that generates electromotive force, such as the rotor in a DC generator and the stator in an AC generator; for motors, it is a component that generates electromagnetic force, such as the rotor in a DC motor. The armature manufacturer states that the armature is the relative motion of the coil relative to the magnetic field of the coil-carrying component in the motor. In a generator, an induced electromotive force is generated in the forced rotating coil to generate electricity. In a motor, the energized coil is subjected to the Ampere force in the magnetic field, causing it to rotate in the magnetic field. In the mid-19th century, the term "armature" was early used for inductors, i.e., holders of magnets. Part of an alternator or related equipment can be represented by any mechanical or electrical aspect. Although these two sets of terms are clearly separated, they are often used interchangeably, or a combination of mechanical and electrical terms is included. This can cause confusion when using composite motors such as brushless alternators, or when talking to people accustomed to using different configurations of motors. In most generators, the field magnet is rotating and is part of the rotor, while the armature is stationary and is part of the stator. Motors and

What is the function of the fuel pump armature?

The fuel pump armature is a device that continuously draws fuel from the fuel tank and delivers it at a specified and specified flow rate. Based on the function of the fuel pump armature, its performance directly affects the performance of the engine. The fuel pump armature is the "heart" of the electronic fuel injection engine. There are two ways for the fuel pump armature to supply fuel. One is external, where the fuel pump is connected in series on the pipeline outside the fuel tank. The other is built-in, where the fuel pump is installed in the fuel tank and immersed in gasoline, so the fuel pump is easy to heat up, has low noise, and has a long service life, so it is widely used. In the fuel, the electric fuel pump is responsible for supplying a certain amount of fuel, and its unit fuel consumption is more than 8 times between the rated power operating conditions of the engine. A large amount of fuel continuously returns to the fuel tank through the fuel pressure regulator, which controls the fuel pressure and cools the fuel line to avoid air blockage. Functions of the fuel pump armature: 1. The main components of the fuel pump armature motor include a permanent magnet fixed on the body and an armature reaction that generates an electromagnetic torque, as well as a brush device installed on the body. The brush contacts the armature on the commutator; Connect the wires to the outside of the terminal, wind the armature of the pressure-controlled fuel pump armature, rivet the coil on the outside of the fuel pump armature, and assemble the components into a non-dismountable unit.
