P-type armature The manufacturer states that motors play a crucial and pivotal role in the process of converting mechanical energy and electrical energy into each other. For generators, it is the component that generates electromotive force, such as the rotor in a DC generator and the stator in an AC generator; for motors, it is a component that generates electromagnetic force, such as the rotor in a DC motor.
P-type armature manufacturer said The armature is the relative motion of the coil with respect to the magnetic field of the coil-carrying component in the motor. In a generator, an induced electromotive force is generated in the forced rotating coil to generate electricity. In a motor, the energized coil is subjected to the Ampere force in the magnetic field, causing it to rotate in the magnetic field.
In the mid-19th century, the term "armature" was early used for inductors, that is, holders of magnets.
Part of an alternator or related equipment can be represented by any mechanical or electrical aspect. Although these two sets of terms are clearly separated, they are often used interchangeably, or a combination of mechanical and electrical terms is included. This can cause confusion when using composite motors such as brushless alternators, or when talking to people accustomed to using different configurations of motors.
In most generators, the field magnet is rotating and is part of the rotor, while the armature is stationary and is part of the stator. Motors and generators can consist of a fixed armature and a rotating magnetic field or a rotating armature and a fixed magnetic field. The pole shoes of permanent magnets or electromagnets and the moving iron parts of solenoids (especially when the latter are used as switches or relays) can also be called armatures.
P-type armature manufacturer said When a synchronous generator outputs a load, the magnetic field generated by the current in the armature winding acts on the main magnetic field, which is the armature reaction of the synchronous generator; 1) When the output of the same generator is a capacitive load, the direction of the armature reaction magnetic field is the same as the direction of the main magnetic field, which will increase the magnetism of the main magnetic field; 2) When the output of the same generator is an inductive load, the direction of the armature reaction magnetic field is opposite to the direction of the main magnetic field, which will demagnetize the main magnetic field; 3) When the output of the same generator is a resistive load, the direction of the armature reaction magnetic field is perpendicular to the direction of the main magnetic field, opposite to the direction of the main magnetic field at the front pole tip of the main magnetic pole, thus demagnetizing the main magnetic field; the rear pole tip of the main magnetic pole is in the same direction as the main magnetic field, which will increase the magnetization intensity of the main magnetic field; because the motor operates in a state where the magnetic circuit is close to saturation, the effect of magnetization is less than demagnetization, and the magnetic field will generally be slightly reduced.
