Starter armature The structure can increase the energization time of the starter and avoid the problem of short circuit caused by the ablation of the copper wire winding after the armature is energized for a long time, thus ensuring the safety of the circuit. The starter armature structure includes an armature shaft, an armature winding, an iron core and a commutator. The armature winding includes an end winding i arranged away from the commutator. The end winding i is provided with a U-shaped portion, and the U-shaped portion is provided with an insulating sleeve. The melting point of the insulating sleeve is higher than 200 ℃. The iron core is fitted on the armature shaft, and the iron core is provided with a winding slot i, and the armature winding is embedded in the winding slot i. The insulating piece i is set in the winding slot i to isolate the armature winding from the iron core and the edge of the armature winding components. The insulating piece i has an S-shape structure to wrap the edge of the armature winding components. The commutator is fitted on the armature shaft and is arranged near the end of the armature shaft. The commutator is provided with a winding slot ii. The armature winding also includes an end winding ii, which is arranged near the commutator and embedded in the winding slot ii. The end winding ii is composed of an inner ring layer and an outer ring layer, and the insulating element ii is arranged between the inner ring layer and the outer ring layer to isolate the inner ring layer and the outer ring layer. The tightening ring is also fitted at the position corresponding to the winding slot ii on the commutator. The insulating sleeve is made of glass fiber.

Compared with the existing technology, the embodiments of the present invention have at least the following effects:

  1. The insulating sleeve is fitted on the U-shaped portion of the end winding i of the starter motor armature structure. The insulating sleeve is high-temperature resistant. The insulating sleeve can isolate the end windings i from each other to avoid short circuits caused by the ablation of the copper wires of the end windings i after the starter armature is energized for a long time, which increases the energization time of the starter armature and thus meets the strict requirements of diesel vehicle manufacturers for long-time energization of the starter.

  2. The winding slot i on the iron core is provided with an insulating piece i, which is S-shaped and can wrap and isolate the edge of the armature winding components, further avoiding the short circuit of the copper wire of the armature winding due to long-term ablation.

  3. The end winding ii is composed of an inner ring layer and an outer ring layer. The insulating part ii is arranged between the inner ring layer and the outer ring layer. The insulating part ii isolates the inner ring layer and the outer ring layer, which can prevent the short circuit of the copper wire of the end winding ii due to long-term ablation.

What are the structural hotspots of a starter armature?

The starter armature moves the entire armature through the magnetic force of the magnetic poles, causing the drive gear to mesh with the flywheel gear ring. The armature of the starter is offset from the magnetic pole by a certain distance under the action of the reset spring, and the commutator is relatively long. The starter housing is equipped with an electromagnetic switch. Its magnetizing coil is controlled by the starter switch S. The movable contact is the contact bridge. The upper end of the contact bridge is longer and the lower end is shorter, so the starter circuit can be connected in two stages. The starter has three magnetic field windings. Among them, the main magnetic field winding with fewer turns is made of flat copper bars, and the other two fine wire windings are the series auxiliary magnetic field winding and the parallel auxiliary magnetic field winding (also called the holding coil). The starter one-way clutch generally uses a friction plate clutch. The working process of the starter armature is divided into two stages. The series auxiliary excitation winding mainly works in the first stage, and in the second stage it is almost short-circuited due to being in parallel with the main excitation winding; the parallel auxiliary excitation winding works in both stages, which not only increases the magnetic force attracting the armature, but also limits the no-load speed. (1) Engagement When the starter switch S is turned on, the electromagnet generates suction to attract the contact bridge. However, because the pawl rests against the blank, the contact bridge can only close at the upper end, and the series and parallel auxiliary magnetic field winding circuits are turned on. Starter armature: What is an armature?

The starter armature manufacturer states that motors play a key and crucial role in the process of achieving mutual conversion between mechanical energy and electrical energy. For generators, it is the component that generates electromotive force, such as the rotor in a DC generator and the stator in an AC generator; for motors, it is a component that generates electromagnetic force, such as the rotor in a DC motor. The starter armature manufacturer states that the armature is the relative motion of the coil relative to the magnetic field of the coil-carrying component in the motor. In a generator, an induced electromotive force is generated in a forced rotating coil to generate electricity. In a motor, the energized coil is subjected to Ampere force in the magnetic field, causing it to rotate in the magnetic field. In the mid-19th century, the term "armature" was early used for inductors, i.e., holders of magnets. Part of an alternator or related equipment can be represented by any mechanical or electrical aspect. Although these two sets of terms are clearly separated, they are often used interchangeably, or a combination of mechanical and electrical terms is included. This can cause confusion when using composite motors such as brushless alternators, or when talking to people accustomed to using different configurations of motors. The starter armature manufacturer states that in most generators, the field magnet is rotating and is part of the rotor, while the armature is stationary.

Starter armature: armature knowledge points

The armature manufacturer states that the armature plays a key and crucial role in the process of converting mechanical energy and electrical energy into each other. For generators, it is the component that generates electromotive force, such as the rotor in a DC generator and the stator in an AC generator; for motors, it is a component that generates electromagnetic force, such as the rotor in a DC motor. The armature is the part of a motor that has coils, and the coils move relative to the magnetic field. In a generator, an induced electromotive force is generated in the forced rotating coil to generate electricity. In a motor, the energized coil is subjected to the Ampere force in the magnetic field, causing it to rotate in the magnetic field. The armature manufacturer states that in most generators, the field magnet is rotating and is part of the rotor, while the armature is stationary and is part of the stator. Motors and generators can be composed of a stationary armature and a rotating magnetic field or a rotating armature and a stationary magnetic field. The pole shoes and moving iron parts of permanent magnets or electromagnets and solenoids (especially when the latter are used as switches or relays) can also be called armatures. The armature manufacturer states that armatures are divided into two categories: DC armature windings and AC armature windings. They are used in DC motors and AC motors respectively. Including the armature core and the armature winding, the armature winding is the circuit part of the DC motor,
